How much longer does this guy have as a regular MLB catcher? Currently hitting just .188 in 64 ABs with 1 HR. Meanwhile, Jeff Mathis has more HRs and Rs in just 17 ABs. I've already benched him (after keeping him, ugh) but I suspect the Jays are going to start doing more of that themselves. Also, D'Arnaud is looming and has a 278/347/422 slash line in AAA.

he's turned into a pretty good receiver, calls a good game & has a great relationship with the staff - he's got a pretty long leash.It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.Comment
