Too bad they waited 'til he was dead, but still good to see.

I wonder if some of the voters waited just to spite him.

          Still nice for his family.

I wonder who the one person was...

Doubtful, since the voting process has changed dramatically since he was last voted upon in '09. Then, all living HOFers voted. Now, only 16 vote, and it's a mix of living HOF players, executives and media types.

Oh man, did I love Bagwell, but I'd think Rose is the best not in. Bagwell still has a little of the friend-of-Caminiti-guilt-by-association odor to him. Even so, if I had a vote, he'd get it.

Rose is a lying sack of crap. He can stay out for all I care.

If you go that route, Joe Jackson. I should have said eligible player.

I would have thought Whitaker before Trammell or Grich.

                              Well, no particular order there.
Whitaker was a notch below - not a great fielder like Trammell or Grich or probably Dahlen, and a platoon guy later in his career. But Whitaker should be on the ballot, at least.
Grich's hitting peak blows away Whitaker, plus he was an awesome 2B defensively.
