Did a piece at BP today about infield fly ball rates and how that helps temper the damage flyballs do to pitchers and how it's a repeatable skill.
I looked at 4,185 pitchers who have thrown at least 100 IP and separated them into 3 groups:
IFF >= 12%
IFF < 5%
everything in between
BABIP by group:

FIP's of that group:
4.08
3.77
4.02
guys with consistently high IFF rates: Weaver, Kershaw, Garza, Lilly.
