Would you trade one year of Goldschmidt for two years of Aaron Nola? Just a reminder, Goldy will now 31 and Nola is 25.

If this is an NL only I like the Nola side.

Of course it still depends on what my keeper roster looks like and what is back in the auction/player pool. If I have deGrom and not much power I am keeping Goldy.

It's more like Acuna, Yelich, Matt Chapman vs Flaherty and Robbie Ray.

That said, I have always found it a bit easier to find pitching than hitting.

If that is your keeper list and you can trade Goldy for Nola I would do it.

Both though just the highlights of the list. The tipping point for me is the extra year.

We have an agreement in principle and will talk when keepers declare next January. It would simplify my draft a great deal. I can go after bullpen and depth without worrying about the staff and starters too much.
