Counting today, Yepez has started 7 games in a row with three in the corner OF (RF today). Same span: Dickerson and Pujols two starts each. Yepez is a regular as far as im concerned.

I expect both of these guys will get back to better production soon enough.Last edited by harmon; 05-12-2022, 08:57 PM.

Muncy: 20.3%
Justin Turner: 17.2%
Nelson Cruz: 18.8%
Grisom: 26.8%
Brendan Rodgers 24.4%
Carlson 16.5%
Tyler O'Neill 30.0% (actually a little lower vs 2021)
So, I guess I don't see the correlation.

Trevor Story 32.5%
Mike Zunino 35.2%
Franmil Reyes 43.2%
Adalberto Mondesi 37% (not that it matters now)
Miguel Sano 32.3%
Victor Robles 29.3%
Carson Kelly 33.3%
Joey Votto 32.2%
Spencer Torkelson 33.3%
Robbie Grossman 29.3%
Adam Duvall 32.5%
Joey Gallo 38.5%
Chris Taylor 38.3%
Kyle Schwarber 31.5%
Cody Bellinger 32.2%
To clarify in case not completely obvious, I'm not saying that no one with a lower strikeout percentage can be struggling. It just seems to be affecting those with higher % more than normal this year.
Muncy as I've said in a few different threads is coming off a major injury, he's not really relevant to this conversation.
Rodgers, Grisham, and O'Neill fit into the high K% group (perhaps Rodgers fringe).

Votto: Historically is 18.4% vs 32.2% for this year - yikes.
Carson Kelly: Historically is 21.3% vs 33.3% for this year - yikes.
