Is Stroman a keeper at $21

What is your pitching hitting split? Do you not draft closers? I tend to agree with Greg here and I'd rather pay 40 for Kluber and spread it around than 75 for three guys in the middle (and I actually like Stroman and the Toronto pitchers).

Thanks for the reply. We do have closers and I have Chapman and Greene (Det) for $18 total. Our league counts holds+saves as a category so prices are about 1/3 less for closers over other leagues. Prices are higher for setup guys and also does drive some inflation on SP as well since we do not go crazy on bidding up top closers like we used to.

I have 3 open spots for pitchers and would like to get SP for all 3. I think I am going to throw back Stroman and let someone else take that risk on his shoulder.

Interesting point on whether to go big on Kluber at $40+ and 2 other $10-$15 SP or spread it and get 3 SP for $25 each. I have always believed it is better to have 2 $20 players instead of one $40 and one $1.
