            I just saw the sad news. I recall him both as a Phillies catcher and later as a baseball analyst. RIP

            • yeah, he was the voice during so many amazing moments. sad news.
              It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

                      not a great article,but does provide some history of the Alou brothers. They all played in the same outfield which is pretty amazing
