Among RP, a top closer can get 45 NetSH, but only four topped 35. A top MR can get 25-30 NetSH and many do 20-25.

One interesting twist, the is a J's Team that isn't mine, see page two of this thread. He got Judge at #18. I picked #19 (Machado).

In a 20-team, you have good power and an exceptional IF and great speed. But you could be in BA hell with that lineup.

The pitching, well...since I'm not a Snell believer, I think you're in trouble. Salazar is already hurt, McHugh is a 6th or 7th SP on Houston, and not only are you lacking in a real closer, but Hildenberger is the only RP I like.

The bench looks good for a league of this depth, especially if TB gives Bauers a shot. He could help your BA with Gurriel out. Rosario should be a positive contributor, Smith and Bauers could be, and Woodruff should help you at some point. Even Cuthbert can help once the inevitable Moose trade happens.

Your best trade pieces lie in the MI - Segura, Moncada, ARosario - to a team that's hard up for speed.
I'm just here for the baseball.

It's on base, not BA. Still, the point is well taken. Someone has already dropped Willie Calhoun, so my #2 waiver priority goes into action.

Looking at WW, SP is grim bit I can get some good K, decent ratio holds candidates. With QS running out the ears, I can probably make some headway.

Wow, a 20-team is tough. I am usually on top of things, but I don't even know who the heck Trevor Hildenberger is.

He's way, way better than AJ Minter.

              Per Fangraphs
Profile: Hildenberger isn't physically imposing and his fastball rarely, if ever, touches 90 mph, but he flat out gets batters out. It starts with pounding the strike zone and a quirky arm angle, but Hildenberger isn't afraid to challenge batters – even lefties – which amounts to a .293 wOBA allowed to righties and a .260 to lefties. Even if they were flip-flopped, that'd play. In an era where teams want high velocity in the ninth inning, Hildenberger would be an unusual choice, but he can get the job done if Fernando Rodney falters – though he'll have to leapfrog offseason signee Addison Reed to do it. (Brandon Warne)

The Quick Opinion: This might be the closer-in-waiting for the Twins. Hildenberger hit the ground running for the Twins as a rookie in 2017, and throws a bit like Pat Neshek with the added wrinkle of grounders. He neutralizes lefties with a good changeup, doesn't give up too many homers and pounds the strike zone. Keep an eye on him.

I am not sure he's better, but he went later. Minter went at #361. I got Hildy with pick #382, my second last non-bench player.

Get this. Austin Hays fell to me at pick #542. I only listed about 400 players, but never hit the bottom of my list. This is my last four taken. Am I wrong, or is that good work for the extreme end?

              26. (502) Dominic Smith (NYM - 1B)
              27. (539) Jake Bauers (TB - 1B)
              28. (542) Austin Hays (Bal - OF)
              29. (579) Cheslor Cuthbert (KC - 3B)

That's great at the end. Can't believe that Hays lasted that long.

As it is, I missed Steckenrider, who is now on WW. Secondary waiver claim on him.

I think it is outstanding, given that it is OBA and 20-team. A minor bit of waiver-wiring to knock off a couple of rough edges, and you should be dynamite in that format.

Why don't you post the roster of the team you think you will be the most competition, just for comparison purposes? There is a world of difference between a 12 or 15 team league and one that is 20-deep.

I'm especially impressed you came out with a killer infield like that.

This was computer drafted, so weirdness is expected. One team drafted all nine pitchers before his first position player. He has sent a trade feeler for my MI players. I replied asking for his 3rd best RP and Ian Happ.

Note: Dropped Cuthbert and added Drew Steckenrider. Which of the SP is most expendable for a pickup, eg Walker Buehler? Calhoun clears waivers tomorrow and now Robles is on WW.

My killer IF just lost 80 games. I wonder how good Jorge will be when he comes off suspension. I know who I cut if Robles clears waivers.

                          I made a big trade.

I gave Nick Castellanos and Jordan Montgomery for
Luis Castillo and Carl Edwards Jr.

                          Commish has approved, OP updated.

Currently in a dogfight for 2nd place (6 teams between 199 and 124). Verlander's shutout moves me to the top of the heap, only 32 points behind the leader.

In any event, Cano just hit the WW. Should I spend my waiver priority for someone 80 games from playing?
