Tyson Ross worked three scoreless innings in a Cactus League appearance Monday versus the Royals.
Ross piggy-backed with Bryan Mitchell in this one and easily out-pitched Mitchell, who gave up four earned runs in four innings. They both appear locked into spots in the San Diego rotation leading into the 2018 regular season. Ross has a 3.27 ERA and 8/4 K/BB ratio through 10 innings this spring.
I have always liked Tyson but haven't done very well with him.
I was hoping that he wouldn't be ready for the start of the season. I was going to try to pick him up for a buck or two in the end game. If he is ready I doubt there will be much discount.
