Brendan Rodgers could be facing surgery after suffering a disclocated left shoulder on Tuesday.


Nothing is confirmed yet, but Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports that doctors found more damage than expected to his shoulder capsule. If surgery is needed, it's possible he could be at risk for missing the season. Rodgers injured his shoulder while trying to make a diving catch at second base on Tuesday. We should hear more clarity soon, but the Rockies and their fans will keep their fingers crossed for now.

Rodgers has been the biggest damn tease. I've had him in my minors for a couple of years, and when he finally looks set to do something this happens. I have him with a 4A contract and was definitely going to keep him, but will probably have to cut him now...
