    If you're in San Diego tonight

    and are active military or a Vet, the Padres are giving you 2 free tickets to tonight's game with your military ID. They'll also be wearing their new Camo jerseys in a show of appreciation for the Military, celebrating the death of Bin Laden.

    Now if they can only find a way to beat the Pirates.............

    at least the Pads will look good while getting shut out.
    After former Broncos quarterback Brian Griese sprained his ankle and said he was tripped on the stairs of his home by his golden retriever, Bella: “The dog stood up on his hind legs and gave him a push? You might want to get rid of that dog, or put him in the circus, one of the two.”

      Strange stat on that subject. The Pads have an 11-2 record when scoring 3 runs or more. They're 0-15 scoring 2 or less. and though they sport the lowest team ERA in the league, yesterday's game was their first shutout win of the year.

          Whats the deal on Latos? Rust or something to be concerned with?

            I think it's a bit of allowing his emotions to get to him again and the opposition crushing every mistake he makes , but he struggled last April too before going on a tear. He'll get it together, his next start should be more Latos like. Don't trade him, you'll be sorry.

              Is this considered a 'gift?' Free tickets to see the Pirates and Padres? Probably the only way to get people in the stands.
