Linebrink hit him in the hand in the 6th. X-rays show a broken bone. I already saw him quoted that they may look at surgery to get him back on the field sooner but he's first going to see a doctor in STL tomorrow so who knows what the prognosis is.
My team has just been horrible so far this year so I'm not even surprised by this. The few guys I have who can actually hit for power are choosing not to do so, and I'm moving guys to the DL like moving guys to the DL will soon be out of style. Despite his minimal power, Freese was at least consistently putting wood on the ball and was actually driving in a decent number of RBIs and scoring runs. I bet he's out at least 6 weeks with this injury.
This season is going to badly for me that if I could find a virgin, I'd sacrifice her.
