    Time to Swing the Ax?

    Who are you getting tired of carrying?

    For me, Yasmany Tomas had a nice little run, then took it all back. With PT in jeopardy, I am auditioning 3B. Someone else just got tired of Lonnie Chisenhall. Not going there. If I cut Tomas, I lose two years of options.

    On the mound, I was a believer in the Juan Nicasio story before it was the Juan Nicasio hype. I got him cheap and I'm still waiting. Is it worth grabbing Dave Mengden or Archie Bradley over him?

      I've been holding onto Hector Neris, waiting for the wheels to fall off for Jeanmar Gomez.

      Neris had been stellar through May, but in his last 9 appearances, he has a 10.80 ERA and 2.850 WHIP.

        I drop Nicasio. I learned a long time ago that he pitches a great 5.00 plus ERA when starting yet he somehow convinces people that it really around 3.00 ERA. Glad I didn't buy into his early success. Tomas PT is for sure in trouble but the D'backs are like the wind it depends on which it is blowing. At least Tomas is young enough for improving.

            Devon Travis has been pretty awful, I tried doing him last week but got outbid for J Peralta.
            If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

                    I dropped Big Game James Shield today. I'm still shocked as to how he went from doing okay to Armageddon. His replacement is Knebbel who I had on the DL.
