2k16: Lance McCullers

It's already been an eventful spring. ADP shot up to the mid 30s among SPs after a really good debut in 2015. Then he had shoulder issues early in spring and hasn't started throwing yet. BUT.. he had an MRI and it came back clean. He hasn't started throwing... but the Astros probably weren't going to give him 190 innings this year anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter that much for his value.

2015: 125ip, 9.2k9, 3.1bb9, 3.22 ERA, 3.26 FIP, 3.50 xFIP. 46.5% ground ball rate. 1.19 WHIP, 6 wins in 22 starts.

Fangraphs projections have him (pre-injury) at 170 innings, 3.74 ERA, 9.2 K/9.

There might be profit here with the injury news. He is a keeper in my league, but I know it would scare me away if he were available--even mild shoulder injuries make me run in terror to safer options. If the injury is a false alarm, I could see him outperforming his Fangraphs projections by a little bit, and rewarding those brave souls who committed to him.
