The guy won the AA triple crown last year, and he's raking again this year, hitting over .400 with an OPS of 1.266. I know that he's old at 26, but man, doesn't this guy deserve a shot with some of the horrible 1st basemen around the majors? It's not like the big Hawaiian is smashing the cover off the ball right now...the Royals should give him a shot. As trade bait, if nothing else.

He's a born DH -- no defensive ability at all and the Royals already have a few of those types. It's 1B or DH for him and teams aren't apt to deal for guys that can't play defense.
