Pena's hand injury worries me. Scott has started pretty badly. Shallow league, so if I ride the hot hand I can probably get another replacement in 3 weeks.

I don't know, I like my 1B to have some power. I think I am going with Scott. Barton just doesn't give me enough stats to get excited about. I like Moreland better as well. Seems to have a higher upside.

Scott is probably the safer long term play, but I like Moreland and LaPorta for now. They are doing well now and have upside, so I'd go with one of them. Scott will probably still be there in a week or two if you need him.

Hmmm....keep in mind this is a BA and OBP league. Barton, will be very strong in BA, OBP, and runs, and not too bad in RBI. They all suck at SB. Moreland's leash to be moved to a platoon player is extremely short.

Since it is a shallow league you can gamble on Moreland who is off to a decent start, I like his upside more than the rest. If he flames out you have other fall back options.
