Reports on the radio this morning said that Mauer has lost anywhere from 10-25 lbs. He looks weak.
Beat writer was suggesting Mauer might not make it back to the team until mid-May."Looks like I picked a bad day to give up sniffing glue.

i have epiphanies like that all the time. for example i was watching a basketball game today and realized pom poms are like a pair of tits. there's 2 of them. they're round. they shake. women play with them. thus instead of having two, cheerleaders have four boobs.

If it is just weakness and weight loss due to a bad case of the flu, and he is out for a month recovering, I'd be estatic about that. But that is assuming he was misdiagnosed to begin with. Bilateral leg weakness can come from several other more serious conditions. If he didn't have that, but was just weak from being sick, that is much better.Originally posted by In the Corn View Post
