No, no, no. You can't sell Cutch at the absolute bottom of his value. You can't trade a consensus top 3 player in the NL for a closer. I know it's frustrating. Trust me, I own Cutch too. I put him on the block and didn't get a single offer. But you've gotta go down with the ship or get a much better offer.

We will find you and slap you if you do this trade. McCutchen is not to be sold on the cheap. I want you to write that 1000 times.

Really as jon said he was a consensus top 3 player and needs to be ridden out as he will come around.
Bob- I'm not exactly sure it would ROCK as you say it Byron.. it may be cool, by typical text book descriptions. Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

If I thought JC would have traded me McCutchen for a closer and some fluff, I promise you he would have gotten an offer. No no no no.

Just tried to grab him, offered Donaldson, was shot down.

            I thought it was fair...........

The guy countered with A Rod and Bauer.

A few days ago I was getting cold feet on A Mccutchen as well. I sometimes get mental and make rash trades. In my 2 big mixed leagues I offered him up, and got a few lowball offers. Just from what he has done in past 2 days I snapped myself out of it. Mccutch has such a sterling resume, he is the guy who has earned some patience.
