  • Hanley Ramirez goes down.....hard

Bill Hall did a Nick Swisher to him as he tried to turn a double play. They're checking out his left knee

They had to carry him off the field as he can't put any weight on his left leg

That would be my Bill Hall taking out the best player on the team that beat me out for the pennant on the final day last season.

As Keith Olbermann used to say: "Aren't we all day to day?"

Hanley Ramirez is day-to-day with a left leg contusion.
Well, that's a relief. Ramirez was in obvious pain after being taken out by Bill Hall at second base, but it looks like he was somehow able to avoid serious injury. He might be sidelined for a few days, but this could have ended much, much worse for the Marlins and fantasy owners alike.
