CODE OF CONDUCT
1.1 League members must never engage in conduct that violates the interests of the league. Collusion and cheating will not be tolerated under any circumstances and such behavior would be grounds for immediate removal from the league.
1.2 Behavior that is detrimental to the league or league members - such as losing on purpose, misrepresenting facts, or attempting to gain an
advantage by circumventing the established rules of the Chicks Dig The Long ball - are all examples of things that could lead to disciplinary action by the Commissioners.
1.3 This league is overseen by two commissioners (Adam Otten and Bryan Henderson) who will vote on initial rules, conduct violation determinations, and will run the day-to-day operations. All decisions by the board will require unanamous commissioner agreement.
1.4 Upon becoming part of the Chicks Dig The Long Ball owners are expected to remain an active and positive member of the league. Inactivity, including not signing in to our League Forum (Proboards forum), not signing into the in-season ESPN league page, not responding to trade offers, or not updating your ESPN daily roster, is grounds for immediate removal.%
1.5 All franchise owners have the right to be heard and to air any grievance. You may at any time post you grievance on the Grievances board on the Proboards site.
LEAGUE FEE'S
2.1 The league fee for Chicks Dig The Long Ball are $75 per team
100% of dues will paid out at the end of the year to the league champ and runners up as follows:
1st: $600
2nd: $200
3rd: $100
2.2 League fees are due by February 1st of every season.
2.3 Access to the ESPN site will not be granted until league fees have been submitted.%
Fees will be submitted and paid out through%leaguesafe.com
LEAGUE SET UP
3.1 Standard 5x5 Rotisserie
3.2 Scoring categories:
Hitting - Avg., HR's, RBI's, Runs, SB's
Pitching- Wins, K's, Saves, ERA, WHIP
ROSTERS
4.1 All team rosters must be kept up to date on a regular basis. If you happen to lose a player to the DL and you place the player in a DL slot. You have 2 FULL scoringperiods to activate him or you will lowaivers no exceptions.%
4.2 Team Roster consists of 1-C, 1- 1B, 1-2B, 1-3B, 1-SS, 1- CI, 1- MI, 5-OF, 1- Util, 9P, 5- Bench, 5- DL
KEEPERS
5.1 - Keepers are due NO LATER then March 1st for the upcoming season
5.2 - Each team can keep up to 10 keepers. But it doesn't have to be 10.
5.3 - Each keeper who is kept, you lose that draft pick where the player was drafted the following season. For example, I keeper player A B and C. All drafted in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd rounds the year before. So for the draft the next year I lose my 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks. So my 1st pick would be the 4th round
TRADES
6.1 - Trading is incouraged but not mandatory. All trades have a 48 hour window where each team owner has a chance to either allow or veto the trade. Also the league will need 6 votes to veto a deal.
6.2 - Just remember when voting on a trade it's a keeper league, so ALL trades might not be totally even. Where a team might be playing for the future and one team might be playing for now.
6.3 - The commissioner in the end holds the right to veto any deal that causes collusion or detrimental to the league. Even if the vote doesn't get 6 vetoes.
CONCLUSION
7.1- Just remember we are all very competitive but also remember to respect all league members. But most all let's all have fun
