  • Juan Soto injures

Juan Soto was removed from Sunday's game versus the Mets with an apparent right leg injury.
Soto stopped abruptly while running the bases and looked like he might have sprained his ankle in the process. He was down for a while but able to walk off the field without any assistant. The Nationals should have more on his status soon.

Nationals manager Dave Martinez said after Sunday's game that Juan Soto is considered day-to-day with a mild ankle strain.

Looked like he just rolled it coming around third when the third base coach flashed the stop sign. He even tried to go back in the game but they pulled him out.
