For the life of me, I can't figure out why they didn't also fire GM Matt Klentak. He is the one who hired Kapler, who urged Middleton retain Kapler. To be fair, Kapler didn't have a whole lot to work with, given the huge mistake in the evaluation of talent from the front office. Kapler just didn't seem to be able or willing to adjust to game situations, instead going by the numbers to a fault. Lot of bone-headed moves! A clean sweep would have been much better.Bearin' up!

Your opinion of this is shallow and poorly constructed, but allow me to re-craft your initial thought into something tangable.

Buck Showalter, Joe Girardi, and Dusty Baker are the only three manager candidates to interview with the Phillies, who are reported to be looking for an experienced manager.“Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.”

Start at the bottom and descend.
Is this the same club that won the 2008 title with 80% home grown talent?
