  • I guess the hope is that he can Austin Riley his way out of the strikeout woes. But for every player who overcomes the Ks, it seems like there are 5 or 10 who never do.

I was surprised to see that I have only owned one player on this list. I had Pujols for his first 5 years in the bigs.

I had two years of Josh Hamilton - 08 and 09, so one great year and one bad one. I tossed him back into our AL only auction figuring I could get him at something of a bargain in '10, but was mistaken.
I'm just here for the baseball.

True, but the behind the back toss from Colon while on the Mets… priceless!

                        • I wonder if Ohtani will force MLB to change the MVP award into the Most Valuable Hitter award to give other players a chance at winning it. It seems like the only thing Ohtani has to do to win it is to stay healthy.

                          • Mike Trout has now homered in 6 consecutive games. The record is 8 consecutive games accomplished by Dale Long, Don Mattingly, and Ken Griffey Jr.

                              • does the record have to be consecutive team games or consecutive player games? I thought it was player games, so I think his HR streak is still in tact at 6.
