So Frazier should be activated soon. Lowrie is still a ways off so what happens when Frazier is activated? I do not see changes with Alfonso, Cano and Rosario so that leaves 3B. Does this cut into McNeil PT? Does he move to LF? Does Frazier become a part time player? Can't even imagine when Lowrie returns. There has to be some type of trade in future.

Mets plan to demote Guillorme - who never plays - and have Frazier be the backup at SS and no I am not kidding (they have Hechaverria in AAA in case Rosario gets hurt).

the Mets wanted to move McNeil to LF before season, but Frazier and Lowrie got hurt.

they have extra bodies (and CarGomez, GBlanco, Rajai Davis, and Danny Espinosa also in AAA - and Tebow!), but I don't think it mandates a trade. can demote DomSmith and/or JD Davis if either cools off, for instance. plus Frazier and Lowrie will get hurt again. maybe Cano goes the PED ban again.

It should be noted that Jeff McNeil has a .347 BA in his career thus far (280 ABs). Remains to be seen how much power or speed he’ll have, but he seems to be a Daniel Murphy clone.

I think JD Davis has been a nice surprise, but he may hit the wall by the time Lowrie returns. if that happens, he's a strong callup if needed.

meanwhile, even GBlanco, Rajai Davis, CarGomez, and Espinosa in AAA is better than what the Mets had on their MLB bench the last few years.

"Subway tokens" - LOL. I guess Frazier is so used up in baseball terms that he isn't even worth a trade-in for a working MetroCard.

Brodie's genius would only rise if he can deal Frazier + Vargas (owed about $17m), maybe by throwing in a still useful but blocked Dominic Smith. He could then sign Keuchel with that money to shore up the formidable rotation. So far, I've been extremely impressed with Van Wagenen.

What happens when Lowrie gets back?

McNeil will move to LF and Lowrie will play 3B. Frazier, if he's still around, will be the backup at SS & 3B.

Phils are banged up and Matz is a streaky streaky pitcher - not by game but by batter.
if he gets 2 scoreless, he gets better.
