              Come on, don't pick on the Mets. Dotel was a Mets prospect and played 1 of his 15 major league seasons with the Mets. Castillo played 3 1/2 of his 15 seasons with the Mets.

                when I think of Castillo I think of him and Pierre on the Marlins - getting crappy little hits and walks and then stealing bases and making a mess with the starters head on some days

                I also think of a play where he was playing 2nd (sort of) on a deep shift against Ryan Howard. Howard hit a line drive off the right field wall that was fielded by Castillo, of course Howard was held to a single.

                          Bigger issue: the Mets dropped last night’s game 2-1 in 14 innings to the Braves. Jake DeGrom pitcher 7 strong innings (13 K, 4 H, 1 BB, and one run). And in typical fashion, he also provided the only offense, hitting a solid HR in the sixth. How embarrassing for the other Mets!
