      • Jasson Dominguez will be the 1st player that hasnt yet played in a full-season league to appear in the Futures Game. In fact, Dominguez' first pro game was just last night in the Florida Complex League (went 0-2) and will have played only about 3 weeks before playing in the Futures Game.

Beginning with his blowup on June 10th (coinciding with the beginning's of MLB's foreign substance crackdown), here are Chapman's numbers:

                14 ER
                9 BB
                6 K
                22.23 ERA
                4.06 WHIP

And since June 1, here are Cole's numbers:

                34 1/3 IP
                31 HA

                  • And the Yankees only have a mere 7 years at $36 mil/year on him.

The question is, did they know he was 'cheating?' Or did they know, and just didn't know MLB would eventually start cracking down on it?

Agreed. I have so little sympathy here. And so disingenuous for him to say “I don’t want batters to get hurt” when what he surely means is “I don’t want to struggle and look overrated.”

If they didn't know, sounds like their scouting and analytics staff ought to be fired. I mean, Donaldson figured it out, and while he's a pretty smart guy, it's not like he should be figuring out anything a team scouting and analytics staff would.

And his last year in Pittsburgh was 4.26 ERA/1.24 WHIP. I think I've figured out what Houston taught him.
