      • There are no rapidly growing Asian industrial economies anymore. China has plateaued. India and Pakistan are their own worst enemies. Nothing new is happening in Indochina or Siberia. The western half of Asia is dominated by religious or ethnic strife.

        • Despite doomsayers predictions of the US leaving the Paris Climate Accords, the US again dropped CO2 emissions in 2017. Decrease was 0.77% (5188 to 5140 MM metric tons). The US CO2 emissions per capita is now the lowest its been since the early 1950s.

          And recent reports indicate that European output rose 1.5%, though the EU has not officially confirmed this.
