I'm sure, but I find it hard to wrap my brain around the idea that a young athlete whose sole job and focus would be healing and rehabbing a finger injury would be out for 6 months with it. Of course, I am no specialist in such things, and if/when word comes down from the docs saying this is a season ender, that will convince me. But I am skeptical of Heyman's report of at the moment, given that typical finger breaks heal in 3-4 weeks, and on the outside, take 3-4 months before the finger is 100%. Regardless, it doesn't look good, for sure. Crazy fluke thing. A shame. Tough kid to keep pitching with it like that.Originally posted by chancellor View PostComment
