Is this a football thing?

I wondered how the NFL got their players. I just assumed they broke them out of prisons and mental wards.

(That was probably too rough. I have a friend that went from the local university to the Eagles...one of only five players in the history of the NFL to have attended Southern Arkansas University. After a while on the on the practice squad, he eventually made the active roster at DT. This guy had an amazing wingspan. Pretty scary, too, unless you knew he was really a very friendly guy.)

A specific player, no. But if Thompson drafts another WR this high, there may be rioting in Green Bay.

I've learned to trust Jerry Reese and co. Even when they don't draft positions of need they've proven themselves adept at finding values. I can't imagine any player/position shocking or bothering me.
