  • If you have the chance to see Mavis Staples, she is still awesome at 80, and quite funny to boot.
If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

Bullshit is everywhere. - George Carlin (& Jon Stewart)

How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are? - Satchel Paige

I saw her a few months ago as a warmup for Brandi Carlisle - she was really amusing and also filled in as a highwoman for a few Carlisle songs

Carlisle is special - I have seen many. many singer songwriters and was blown away by her power - it was a smallish arena (MSG - 15k seats) show but she still filled the place with music. Do NOT miss her if you have the chance

        • My wife got us tickets to see Roger Waters This is not a drill tour.

We will be going on Aug.22 in Milwaukee. The venue is Fiserv and he will be performing in the round. She got us 11th row so I am pretty pumped about it.

My smart ass answer to your smart ass answer, Yes, you can call them whatever you want, even if they already have names. For example, you can add a 2.0 on the end of any name.

My wife and I were talking about this. She asked me to send my list to her to make up her own list. She was going to take the out the ones that we did not see together and add her's in. She asked me why I left off one of my favs Pink Floyd (twice) and our fairly recent Emmylou Harris...fixed.
We bought the Roger Waters tickets in Feb. 2020. We finally got to see him last night in Milwaukee. It was fantastic.

He was performing in the round. We bought floor tickets for section 9 row 11 seats 3 and 4. As it turns out we ended up in the front row for two songs. He came down a cat walk and stood right next to Mrs. Gregg 6 feet away. Sang a song from Animals which is also the first album she bought with her own money.

                            Great night!

                            • Saw Roger Waters last night. Dude is 79 years old! Still a ton of attitude. The show made Bono look apolitical.

Was really happy I got to experience it, even if it was at the very tail end of things.
