These old time cards are just classic design!

i have epiphanies like that all the time. for example i was watching a basketball game today and realized pom poms are like a pair of tits. there's 2 of them. they're round. they shake. women play with them. thus instead of having two, cheerleaders have four boobs.

Except for the years that Topps either would not or could not pay for the use of the team logos and had to airbrush them out.

This is really bizarre. I read a story this morning about former Eagles RB Calvin Murray, so I checked him out on pro-football-reference.com and then clicked through some fellow members of his 1981 NFL Draft class. I was scrolling down and saw Wade Wilson was drafted by the Vikings that year in the 8th round and was one of that draft's great late-round values.

I just saw a Troy Aikman tweet that Wilson died today, on his 60th birthday. RIP.
