      I found it difficult to rank their 5 starters. I think you will see CC and Pineda 1-2 because they are power pitchers. Kuroda next because of experience, than Nova, and Freddy as the 5th starter.

        Given the investment, I still think there's a chance they start the season with Burnett in the rotation rather than Freddy, but you never know. Hughes remains a huge asset in the bullpen. I'd love to see them convince an NL club to take a chance on Burnett if the Yanks take back a similarly-priced, bad-contract hitter and agree to pay a chunk of Burnett's salary (e.g., Soriano or Bay). And I actually think Burnett could be pretty solid in the NL.
