If DMT didn't exist we would have to invent it. There has to be a weirdest thing. Once we have the concept weird, there has to be a weirdest thing. And DMT is simply it.

      1.02 Kashmir

Predictable pick, but gives me a chance to start looking at the ones I know less about since this one is so obvious.

          1.04 Whole Lotta Love

Killer riff, Hammer of the Gods drumming, great solo, nicked lyrics, howling sexual innuendo...what else do you want from a Led Zeppelin song?

1.05 Rock And Roll, Led Zeppelin IV

I agree with Mith on Stairway, but I also love this tune.

              1.06 Ten Years Gone
              Album: Physical Graffitti

Page recorded around 14 different guitar tracks and stitched them all together to make this song, which he intended to be an instrumental. Plant later added lyrics, which are dedicated to an old girlfriend who, ten years earlier, had made him choose either her or his music, according to a 1975 interview.

Draft with my head or with my heart? I’ll go with my favorite Zep tune, even if it might last another round:

1.07- Hey Hey What Can I Do - Coda

                  1.08 When the Levee Breaks

So I normally would've taken another song here considering I took it at 1.03 last time, but I want to mix it up and I believe I was completely shut out of IV last time.

                      1.10 Ramble On

Tough call between this one and a couple other more rockin' barnburner songs. But I'm reading The Hobbit to my son right now, so it feels like fate that I pick this in round 1.

                        2.01 No Quarter

No Quarter might have lasted the 20-odd picks until my next one, but I love the hell out of this song so damnit I'm picking it. Such a unique song.
