            They certainly paid up. I'm not sure he is worth it, but they made some moves, and they really needed to. Their line up was horrid last year.

              - Must sign = Rodon and Iglesias
              - Would be nice to get 2 out of 3 = Tepera, Cobb and Kikuchi
              - Please do not sign any of these = Stroman, Kershaw, Jansen and Greinke
              - Glad we passed on = Scherzer and Gasuman
              - Pissed we passed on = Ray and Wood

              They better get moving!!! Both Seattle and Texas have improved and Angels could be looking at last place.

                      You may be thinking of former Pirates backup first baseman Will Craig, who last season turned a force out at first base into a rundown where everyone ended up safe and a run scored. He was DFA'd a few weeks later.

                      But, yeah i'm surprised to see Moran let go. Yoshi Tsutsugo looks like the Pirates full-time first baseman now.
