2022 keepers

Fresh off my 8th title, I managed to hang on to all my best keepers. 12-team mixed 5x5 with OBA and Slug replacing HR and BA. There were some great responses last year so thanks for any input!

Haha, no it mostly means I'm old and have been doing this a long time.

At first, I thought "Well, of course you keep Schwarber in an OBP/SLG league". But those 30 SBs with a decent OBP from Straw might be really appealing if most all the speed is kept in your league. You can probably buy some decent OBP/SLG, but SBs are awfully hard to find in a lot of keeper leagues right now.

Yep, my knee jerk reaction was keep Schwarber. I thought maybe I should think about it for awhile.

You make a good point...but Schwarbs is FIVE BUCKS! says the Cubs homer. And I am still mad at them for not signing him.

I'm really tempted on Straw also.

He's found a home at leadoff in the Guardians lineup and figures to improve on some impressive numbers from this year.

Ok keepers are due on Fri and Flaherty's injury likely opens another slot. No one is interested in trading for him.

If I drop Flaherty I take a $5 penalty which for this decision is equivalent to adding $5 to my final keeper. So I can keep two more from this list. I'm still leaning Bassitt for #9 (#9 #9 #9.....). Who would be your final two keepers?

Tough choice would also consider Swanson and Straw.
