I voted for Vlad, because I think he wins it, but I think it should be Ohtani. Ohtani's season is one of the most amazing things I have ever seen in sports. He will lose out on the award, because his team is not good.

if you think it should be Ohtani, vote for Ohtani! I did ... as much as I've loved watching Vladdy this year I just can't say no to what he's done on both sides
It certainly feels that way. But I'm distrustful of that feeling and am curious about evidence.

I forgot to add Salvador Perez:
    .275/.316/.542, 43 HR, 109 RBI, 77 R, 1 SB, 127 OPS+, 4.9 WAR

    I think he's a lock for Top 5.

My vote would go for him, but him winning would be a shift for most voters, who strongly favor the MVP going to a player on a winning team. If Vlad manages to pull off the triple crown (very doable for him right now), while carrying his team to the playoffs, I'd be shocked if he didn't win it, even against one of the truly special seasons in sports history being put up by Ohtani. At least it will be close. A triple crown contender on a winning team is hard to pass up.

The Jays have lots of other contributors. The Angels would be the worst team in baseball without Ohtani. So, begrudgingly, I voted for him.

    Ottawa Triple Eh's | P.I.M.P.S. | 14 team keep forever
    Champions 16,21 | Runner up 17,19-20

The FOS (retired) | MTARBL | 12 team AL 5x5
    Champions 01,05,17 | Runner up 13-15,20

Hard not to vote for a once in a lifetime season as Ohtani is having.

I might have to change my vote if Vlad wins the triple crown and his team makes the playoffs.

No playoffs I do not change.

Moo point if Ohtani takes out Vlad in HR's.

When the actual MVP voting takes place will Ohtani be consider because of what he has done both hitting and pitching or will it be viewed separately?
