        I ended up 15 IP over the innings threshold. Cortes pitched 31.3 innings for me after I got him. If I hadnt taken him, I would have activated Joely Rodriguez, who had only 9.0 IP during this period. So I would have missed the innings minimum if I had taken the voucher. Wheeler and Quantrill were originally scheduled to pitch today. If they had have pitched, I likely would have made the limit, but they didnt. So, I definitely did the right thing.

          I'll also point out that Toussaint, who was my favorite going into the draft before it was reported he was removed from the rotation, had only 10 IP during this period and woudnt have gotten me to the innings threshold. And it wouldnt have mattered but he wasnt nearly as good as Cortes either. OTOH, Bailey Ober, who was my 2nd choice after Cortes, had 17.7 IP, which would have just barely enabled me to make it.
