We should have nipped it (early dumping) in the bud back then...but we couldn't get the entire league on board with doing so.

Dumps have already started in RJEL, as you know...
This has inspired me to post my post-auction email to my main league. I'll dig it out when I'm on the right computer."Instead of all of this energy and effort directed at the war to end drugs, how about a little attention to drugs which will end war?" Albert Hofmann

Always a great read, thanks! Bass seemed pricey to me, but then again it is an only, and my view could be colored by what he has done, but he seemed pretty iffy even before the season. Otherwise, it looks like you did great on your plan---the rotation looks far better than it should given your money and keepers, and that's what you needed.

Bass is causing me much consternation. It was a buy I didn't want to make, felt almost pigeonholed into it, and now it is turning out disastrously bad. To make matters worse, although I have Floro and Curtiss, yet Garcia (who Dreamteam kept at $5) gets the first non-Bass save chance and converts it easily.
Let's hope the rotation performs at least as well as forecast. Fried was supposed to be a stabilizing force but got lit up last week...and Webb's amazing changeup hasn't exactly transformed his results. That's not a reassuring start to the season.2021 Auction Anatomy
