Great pick with Woodruff in the 3rd! Haven't see him go that late very often.

I would have taken Woodruff over Max

Interesting. In our RJ NFBC draft, Soto went 1.04, Max went 2.27 and Woodruff went 3.33.

Had Woodruff been there at 3.34, would you have taken him ahead of Devers?

I almost did. We had Sporer on SXM at the time and while he also liked Scherzer a little more, we were sorta torn. I expected Woodruff to be off the board by 3.04 - that wasn't part of the plan.

Three more until my 4th rounder with Springer and Vlad both still available.

Getting either with pick 57 would be solid. Rooting that they drop to you...

                  4.57 George Springer

Both Springer and Vlad made it, went with Springer. Real tough decision.

Speed will be an issue, but I don't mind being light on steals.

Two picks away from Vlad falling. Oh well. Don't love this one. I had an OF and a SP ranked the same as McNeil but I already have two yellows and two greens so went with the MEP hoping there's someone later I can fit after moving McNeil around.

I love this team so far. I'm surprised by how close Vlad Jr and Springer are in ADP. I guess peeps like that weight loss. It shows dedication, but Springer is the safer guy. Jeff McNeil can hit. I was looking for a reason not to be scared off by his exit velo and your work on a correlation for power but not really for hitting in general was enough to make me like McNeil at his adp.

I'm just here for the baseball.

Swanson pick feels a little early, what's the read on him that I'm missing?

I'm expecting somewhere between 2019 and 2020, so .260 with 20 HR and 10-15 SB, 80 R, 70 RBI. No slouch but feels like there's better options at 87 typically.

Yeah, Swanson seems too early to me, too. Could he have a huge season in that lineup if he stays healthy all year? Sure. But when has he ever done that?
