Wouldn't the Rays have to allow the Jays to play in Dunedin during the regular season? The distance is only about 25 miles. They would split the fanbase, which is small enough as it is.

I think this is more about a permanent move. Every story I've read says Toronto just needs permission of MLB and the MLBPA.

Really! I wonder if that would be the case if they decided to play in the Meadowlands.
