  • Bigfoot Hunting License

Now that the elections are all settled, we can start tackling the important issues.

Oklahoma State Rep. Justin Humphrey introduced a real-life bill Wednesday calling for the Oklahoma Wildlife Commission to establish an official bigfoot hunting season, complete with licenses and tags.

But, there's a catch ... Humphrey reportedly wants people to trap bigfoot instead of killing it, and hopes to create a $25,000 bounty for the first person to catch the creature.

I was wondering, if you catch a littlefoot, do you have to throw him back?

As someone who sang lead in a cover band in the 80's--this is pretty accurate.
If I whisper my wicked marching orders into the ether with no regard to where or how they may bear fruit, I am blameless should a broken spirit carry those orders out upon the innocent, for it was not my hand that took the action merely my lips which let slip their darkest wish. ~Daniel Devereaux 2011

if this bill gets 100 people to sign up for Bigfoot licenses and tags for spits and giggles, it's a net win.

if they hire any marketing specialist worth their salt, they can sell these suckers all over the world.....

Yeah, I am torn on this....my initial reaction was yours...why not, this could be a tourist boon and a money maker, and is a fun thing that taken the right way would remain that way. But then I remembered how many gullible people buy all in on the most absurd things, and own real life guns to boot. I like the bit where they have to bring bigfoot in alive, but I fear it could still not end well for someone down the road.

I don't think that many hunters are killing many humans in any state....

I think you are being generous in labeling some of the folks that would buy these licences typical hunters.
