I would be in your camp having forgotten more about betting football than most will ever learn. I used to gamble hard. Football was my favorite sport to bet on. Craps was my favorite Casino game. Of course that does not mean I didn't bet on everything else.

The Bears/Jag line and circumstances (if I was still a player) would cause me to bet 5 times my usual bet. That is how confident I am that the Bears will cover.

I quit gambling about 20 years or so ago.

With Ryan Finley at QB, you can’t go with Higgins, whose upside is capped. Gotta be Chark here, even though that’s not a great option either.

Henderson should get all but goalline carries, so I’d go with him & Gaskin.

          Jalen Hurts or Lamar Jackson?
I'm just here for the baseball.

I would also go with the more proven Jackson.

Alvin Kamara's 6 rushing touchdowns yesterday ties the NFL single game record set by Ernie Nevers in 1929.

Gale Sayers (1965) and Dub Jones (1951) also scored 6 TDs in a game. Sayers total included a receiving TD and punt return TD. Jones' total included 2 receiving TDs.

Nevers also kicked 4 extra points to set the single game scoring record with 40 points.

                    I'd agree with this.

If you need the higher floor, go for Jackson. He's been on a roll recently and should continue that. If your opponent is stacked and you feel like you need a big performance, I could be swayed into starting Hurts but would prefer Jackson.

I agree. Hurts is the shiny new toy and the Dallas D is pretty awful, but I think you have to go Jackson.

I can't go with Bell because 1) the Falcons have the 2nd best D against RBs; and 2) the Falcons have the 2nd worst D against QBs/WRs. So it should be the Mahomes show again, and while Bell could get garbage time touches and fantasy points, I'm not banking on him doing much else in this matchup.

Stafford limps off to the locker room midway through the 1st quarter. Hope no one was counting on him!
