So, the Dolphins could make the playoffs and still have a top 10 draft pick next year. Nice.

          what a race!

          EAGLES 3-6-1
          FOOTBALL TEAM 3-7
          COWBOYS 3-7
          GIANTS 3-7

assuming that none of these teams can beat a winning team (right?), then remaining opportunities:

          Eagles 3-6-1 (2) - Cowboys, Football Team
          Football Team 3-7 (4) - Cowboys, 49ers, Panthers, Eagles
Cowboys 3-7 (5) - Football Team, Bengals, 49ers, Eagles, Giants
          Giants 3-7 (2) - Bengals, Cowboys

So what wins the NFC East? I’m guessing 6-10.

are any of these teams good enough to win half their remaining games? We might see a 5-win team make the playoffs for the first time.

                Best guess predictions:

Cowboys - 7-9 to 8-8 - 50% chance of winning the NFC East
Has a shot: WFT, Bengals, 49ers, Eagles, Giants
                No shot: Ravens

                WFT - 6-10 to 7-9 - 35% chance
Has a shot: Cowboys, 49ers, Panthers, Eagles
                No shot: Steelers, Seahawks

                Giants - 4-12 to 5-11- 10% chance
                Has a shot: Bengals, Cowboys
No shot: Seahawks, Cards, Browns, Ravens

                Eagles - 4-11-1 to 5-10-1 - 5% chance
                Has a shot: Cowboys, WFT
No shot: Seahawks, Packers, Saints, Cardinals

Now here are the latest odds on DK:
                Eagles +140
                Cowboys +300
                Giants +300
                WFT +450

Seems like the Cowboys are a good bet at +300.

they have to play each other, though

worth noting: both Tom Brady and Tua - who is young enough to be Brady's son - seem to be at a similar point in their careers, oddly enough.

they each can thrive against so-so defenses. but Brady's age and Tua's inexperience are catnip for strong, well-coached defenses.

the Bucs were fortunate not to get waxed tonight. some curious play calls by the Rams and yet another lucky "not a fumble" play for Brady made it close.

same for Tua. he went out down only 20-13, but he had no chance against the DEN defense if you look closer.

Brady has no downfield accuracy left in his bag of tricks. His deep ball accuracy on throws of >20 yds has plunged to 34% from 41% last year. His YPA is the 2nd worst of his long career (to last year), and he's compromising some great WRs - -namely Chris Godwin, who's YPC is down from 15.3 last season to 11.3 this season.

LOL. If I had to guess now, I'd say 7-9 wins it.
