So much for the big comeback year.

Remember when people thought the Steelers were crazy for getting rid of Antonio Brown and Le'Veon Bell?

the game has changed so much in recent years that these really are for amusement purposes only, and not a reflection of any sort of hierarchy of great NFL QBs (as you'll see)

        in that spirit, here goes

The Falcons have anywhere from 1 to 4 positives, depending on where you read, and their Week 6 game vs Minnesota is in jeopardy.

Due to the league's COVID-19 protocols, Bell will be ineligible to suit up against the Bills on Monday. He needs five straight days of negative tests, and is then eligible to practice if he's negative on a sixth day "point of contact" test. Provided Bell can avoid getting the virus between now and next Wednesday, he will get in a full slate of practices ahead of the Chiefs' week 7 game with the Broncos.

Le'Veon Bell's contract is worth $690,000 with an additional $1 million in incentives.

And the Jets still owe Bell $6 million this year.

apparently there is an offset with the bonuses, so the Jets would get a modest break.

In addition to the Falcons and Colts, the Eagles and Patriots have had players test positive in the last few days. The Patriots canceled their Friday practice after a positive COVID-19 test. This is starting to get ugly.

                        edit/clarification on the Eagles:
The Eagles have placed offensive lineman Matt Pryor on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. He was in close contact with someone outside of the building who had the virus, a source said. He hasn’t tested positive himself yet. Team will go through the necessary protocol.

The Patriots reopened their practice facility after no positive test results this morning. The Patriots’ Week 6 game against the Broncos is on track to be played Sunday.
