Back in March, what odds would the three team parlay atop the AL have gotten?

The Jays' magic number is 1. A Jays win or Mariners loss and they are in!

If Astros lose tonight, the Angels will be just 2 games out with 3 to go. Houston is 8-20 on the road this year, so you never know.

Finally (finally!!) the Fish got a win in Atlanta last night and their magic number is two with three games to play at the Yankees. How about we make it easy today with a Marlins win and a Phillies loss? If I know the Fish at all, it wont work out that way! Edit: The MLB site says their magic number is still 3, but the Marlins hold the tie-breaker over the Phillies, so it would be two, right?

    Current AL matchups

WHO IS NEXT: The Astros can clinch a postseason berth with a win over the Rangers or a loss by the Angels at the Dodgers this weekend.

"The MLB site says their magic number is still 3, but the Marlins hold the tie-breaker over the Phillies, so it would be two, right?"

WE all know the Mets won't sweep this weekend and wind up in a 3-way divisional tie for 2nd at 29-31.

but the magic number algorithm has to factor that in
