Sadly lost a nice payout parlay in the world series last night on the run line. Had Turner HR, over 8.5 runs and Dodgers -1.5 would have made $5 like $60 and covered my continued shitty college football betting. stupid Penn St.

Ok today I am mostly playing boosts..

Draft Kings earlier this week had Steelers, Packers and Saints to win boosted to +485 I bet $15 then. The boost now is down to +385 for the same bet.

Took the Steelers on Fan Duel with their boost to +1.5 at +110

Took the points give back boost on Fan Duel Bills -5.5 Cardinals +9.5 and Steelers +7.5 at +200

I have no logic how to use the 7 parlays at 20% boost on Dk but so far I have little $5 bets on 2 two leg parlays

Falcons and Cowoboys in the no one wants to bet on these two teams ML at +319 with the boost

Bengals ML and Bills -10 at +487

A chase the backup rb's td $5 special parlay I put together. Swift, Dillon, and Gio to score a TD boosted to +1502 for anytime TD's.

So I guess I have 4 of those left maybe I'll use them maybe not. Betting the NFL has not been easy.

Nice day today. Teased the Bills down to -4 and the Tenn-Pitt game down to 45 for a parlay which paid even money. Also won a parlay with the overs on the Browns and Bucs game. Took a boost with Kyler and Russell Wilson to throw at least 2 TDs, and hoping to get the over on Seattle-Arizona, which is very close to hitting at this point. Only thing I lost today was a teased parlay with the overs in Packers and Lions games.

crushed by NEP, licking wounds there

deciding game is now - ARI + 3.5 was a winner until ARI, with the ball in the final seconds, got selfish and decided to kick a game-tying FG to force a potentially brutal beat in OT.

but my main play was ARI moneyline so win or bust




ooh, what a twist here: SEA gets ball to start OT.
if ARI got, either they score a TD to end it or SEA gets ball and can either tie or win with an FG

so incentive for SEA to get the TD here - so dammit I wish ARI received the kickoff.

update: am just realizing that in this spot you want SEA to kick a FG.
then ARI gets the ball and knows they must score.
TD - would be a winner!
stopped - also a winner!
tying FG - would not be great, but now little time left and unless someone breaks a play, SEA either works it to a deciding FG or the game ends in a muddled tie. winner!

oh, turns out SEA had to punt. that's ok IF ARI at least kills a lot of clock here.

UPDATE: ARI wins it with a FG even though it's 2nd and 15 from beyond yards because reasons - wait, they don't because they called a timeout first.
then SEA with a soul-crushing TD late - wait, no because of a holding call.
then SEA will win anyway - wait, an INT with a minute left.
ARI at the buzzer - wait - this time he made it!

WOO HOO!

and I still cannot imagine risking week- or month-changing amounts on the whims of dopey athletes (even with a really good track record the last 1+ years).

This is a Top 15 on the craziest football games I’ve ever watched.

Last night's game was crazy. First, the DK o55 promo rang the cash register like every five minutes -- 8 total XPs = $40 extra in free bets. $50 wager ended up paying out $135.

Then, as the Seahawks collapsed, it began to set in that my 'Wilson 2 TDs + Seahawks win' bet, which looked like a slam dunk win in the 4th quarter, would not pay out.

Finally, as they went to OT, I still had a shot with my same game parlay of o44 (already covered) + Seahawks win + Metcalf TD -- and then it happened! Metcalf TD, Seahawksn win, I hit the parlay!! Woooo! But arrrggghhhhh, a holding penalty nullified it. Doh. The ups and down of sports betting. I can't imagine risking more than $50 or so on a single bet, the highs and lows are crazy. I have no idea how bridgejumpers who risk thousands on cockamamie bets do it.


Also funny that in a game that had 1,100 yards of offense (!!!) I had two significant players go UNDER their totals (Metcalf & Kirk).

So some good some bad yesterday and a pay attention to what you are betting lesson.

The good hit the max on the Steelers bet so that was a $55 profit. Bet $25 on the Fan Duel points back bet and the Cards held on so made $50 on that. Hit the over and the $40 bet bonus on Draft kings. Hit my same game parlay on Fan Duel in the Cards Sea game, Hopkins TD, Murray over 45.5 yards, Wilson over 290, and Locket over like 70.5 yards so $10 became $93 there

The bad didn't hit any of my parlay boosts on Draft kings, came real close on 2 but missed the 3rd leg in all of them. The really bad was me not reading well and trying to arb a bet and F'ed it up badly. Basically the short version is I bet two different games and so far I lost one of them and I now have $50 hanging out there on the Rams Bears to be over 9.5 in the first quarter. Not good Bob, not good.

In the end those wins and that bonus $40 bet we get will make it a good day I am up to over $2,400 on $400 so far with a few bets still out there. Really need a big Mookie game 6 tonight!

Ed how will you use that free $40 bet? Will you just straight up bet something, or will you arb it one something to make a profit?

Not sure how they pay it out. Fox typically pays out its freebies in $5 increments, I forget how DK does it. If I have a choice, I don't think I'll use it all at once though.

someone else just started advertising this - maybe PointsBet or William Hill.

I believe there is some sentiment that the house usually prefers parlays to be on discrete events - if you parlay Chiefs, Mahomes, and THill all over, it's the same wager to some extent as in "Chiefs go big."

As for the $40 bet the best use seems to be bet a big underdog on DK and a favorite on fan duel but wait until you find the best roi to turn that bet into cash or a win on another site.

Yeah, I was playing around with adding events that had -500 or worse and it actually lowered my payout, lol.
