The Miami Dolphins have won 4 in a row and 5 of 6, and have covered the spread by an average of 11.1 pts all season. Second best in covering the spread are the Steelers with a distant +4.9 pts. The Dolphins are favored by 2.5 pts vs the Chargers this week.

Draft Kings has a Thursday night football / Masters combo promo running. Bet $25 on the Over Under line in tonights game and then get $1 for each golfer who shoots 69 or better or each golfer who shoots 75 or worst. You get the 69 or under guys if you bet the under and the 75 and over guys if you bet the over. Last year apparently the split was even. I guess maybe watch how the course plays today if you feel like playing this one.

Fan Duel has a new one time per day up to $25 single game parlay insurance for any 3 or more leg parlay.. This is good for Football and soccer now. The cool party is they will refund you in site credit which unlike draft kings credit you can break up into multiple bets for up to $25 on any single game parlay that is +200 or more. This specific promo at this time has removed the limitations of each bet must be under -400 so what it seems we are able to do is make two bets that are almost locks in terms of probability and one reach bet in hopes of hitting.

So for tonights game I took the Colts +24.5 and over 24.5 points as my two near locks and then took Derek Henry to score the first TD for $25 at +500. If it hits I win $124.88 and if just one leg misses I get my $25 back. This seems like a good promo to chase a big hit with an excellent chance to win your money back.

in a 13-man, 26-week golf pool I was so much the "monkey in the middle" that a Cantlay win likely would propel me from 6th to the title

but a DJ win and no improvement from PC, and I'm staring down the barrel of an 11th-place finish

had 2 bucks on CSmith to win Masters at +2400

he parred his first 10 or 11 holes and seemed doomed, so out of frustration I "cashed out" on DK for 35 cents (also got 5 cents on a Casey pick, which at that point was a "charity nickel" from them). Smith immediately made 3 birdies in a row and Thomas and Rahm went backwards.

Smith is currently solo 2nd. I did grab him for second at +400 just before his birdie on 2. if he does finish 2nd I'll be okay about this whole exercise....
