I play that Fox Super 6 app which lets you pick game outcomes for prizes, for free. I've won a few free Fox bets but haven't come close to any real money. So I check this morning and boom, I hit all 6 of 6 in the WVU-TCU game! Winner! Out of 520,000 entries, I finished 1st! I check the prize money, and pfffftttttt.....I tied with 1,096 others and split a $1,000 first prize. Ninety seven cent!

had 2 bucks on CSmith to win Masters at +2400

he parred his first 10 or 11 holes and seemed doomed, so out of frustration I "cashed out" on DK for 35 cents (also got 5 cents on a Casey pick, which at that point was a "charity nickel" from them). Smith immediately made 3 birdies in a row and Thomas and Rahm went backwards.

Smith is currently solo 2nd. I did grab him for second at +400 just before his birdie on 2. if he does finish 2nd I'll be okay about this whole exercise....

I did ok, as Smith tied for 2nd with Im so I got chopped in half. Smith's short chip on the last hole missed going in by an inch, damn.

nice to see Johnson win - and also nice to see his MILF wife, Paulina Gretzky (Wayne's daughter)!

I took each QB to have at least 1 pick last night for +295. I was feeling bold so I put 20 on it. Made up for a terrible weekend.

Also had taken Thielen and Allen Robinson over 127.5 yards receiving last night. They had like 65 after the first quarter - thought I was set. I think they finished with 90. The INT bet was sweet though.

PointsBet does betting where you win and lose more off every point away from the point spread.

the Vikings were around -3 and they only won by 6. but they dominated that game like Godzilla thru Tokyo, allowing 10 of the Bears 13 points on a kickoff return TD and a turnover for a FG.

anyone who had the Bears on such a bet had to be hiding under the bed all night, wondering if they can make their next mortgage payment - only to salvage a modest loss.

there are state-by-state quirks.

I remember there was one weird event that PA approved but NJ didn't.

as for my picks, I just stumbled onto that nightly ESPN sports betting show with Doug Kezerian and friends.

it was entertaining, and the rationales for their picks seemed persuasive.

I had to turn off the NFL part, though, because my top 5 NFL weekly picks are 28-21-1 this year against the spread and 75-54-6 for 2019-20 - and if any of those dudes had that winning pct, it would take up half the screen for the entire show.
