Do you know why Pennsylvania keeps getting screwed with these promos? The last one was the BAL-PIT promo, which gave everyone in states other than PA $25. This one is over 0.5 completions in the rest of the country, but 0.5 TDs in PA. What the dealio? Are there regulations in PA that don't allow for these easy money plays?

Wow, 34%! By comparison, NJ's tax for online sports betting operations is just 13%.

it's similar for casinos as well - 8 pct NJ vs maybe 40 pct or more for PA and NY.

operators howled, but PA and NY produce far more direct tax revenue for the state. the partial tradeoff is fewer in-house jobs, because at those tax rates, a casino is not going to have the level of dining and entertainment that, say, Atlantic City versions do.

I had UCLA vs USC last night, I'm getting UCLA +3.5 - loved it enough to bet not two but THREE bucks on it!

In last night's wild game, BAL led CLE by 3 points with 2 seconds left in the game. But on the ensuing kickoff, CLE tried to pull off a "Music City Miracle" but failed -- badly. The final lateral went out of the end zone for a safety, and BAL won, 47-42 -- thus covering the 3 point spread!

Baltimore bettors rejoiced, while Cleveland bettors did everything they could to not throw the remote at their TV.

line was -3.5 at game time (that swore me off BAL and into a parlay of BAL win at all plus LJax OVER 55.5 rushing yards). some earlier bettors got a push once the 2-point conversion hit, some had a win at that point.

but last-minute players on BAL were losers until the final silly play.
