They're only a couple DBs and a QB away from fielding a really good team.
I'm just here for the baseball.

Lions activated QB Matthew Stafford from the reserve/COVID-19 list.

Stafford never actually had the coronavirus, with the Lions saying their quarterback was the victim of a false positive.

"False positive" also describes how Lions fans feel in August and September of most years.

Falcons place CB A.J. Terrell on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

It is the NFL's first positive test of the regular season. The Falcons received Terrell's positive overnight. For now, no one else has the virus. The entire team was re-tested Saturday, and the results will come back Sunday morning. As NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reminds, "all NFL players wear tracking devices all day in the facility," and as long as "no one was within six feet for 15-plus minutes, tests positive or shows symptoms, there is no impact on anyone else’s status for game day."
